I'm thrilled to finally release the very first film done under the video department. Greenvans is a van rental company for touring musicians based out of Boston, MA. Owners Andy and Anthony work tirelessly every day to make sure all vehicles and clients are safe and taken care of. This project was an absolute blast to work on, and really pushed Brendan and I in our "guerrilla" style techniques (Brendan may have been hanging out of a truck with our camera rig to nail some of these shots). It's a Monday, the one day every week that the studio is closed. I'm relaxing on a rare day off and wanted to share a few thoughts.

It's been a crazy couple of years since the studio opened, I have shot more cool weddings than I can count, hundreds of portrait sessions with amazing families from all over New England with kids of all ages. The studio has grown every year and now started a cinematography department as well as expending the full time team here at the studio. This is all cool and fun, but the best part of the entire experience of opening this photography studio has been all of the amazing people I have met, and the stories I have documented along the way. Thank you for all of your creative and whacky ideas that throw me off and challenge me every day. Thank you for being awesome, I really enjoy working with all of you.

I was just thinking how cool the last couple of weeks have been. Last weekend I was out shooting a stunning wedding on Martha's Vineyard for three days filming everything from lighthouse sunsets, organic farms harvesting the wedding food, surfing, yoga, fields of daises overlooking ocean and a puppy.

This weekend I was shooting another unique wedding in Cohasset at an Inn from the 1700's complete with rock n' roll, muscle cars, belly dancer/sword performer, fairies and lots of tattoos and good attitudes.

These were two very opposite weddings and both align exactly with all of the things I like best, both in my personal life and in work life. So much fun!

I love my job! Thank you so much to all of you who make this possible for me to do every day, it means the world to me and I don't know where I would be without you.

The studio's first wedding of the year was amazing! We started in at the church in Winchester and moved to one of my favorite northshore wedding venues, L'Andana Grill in Burlington. Heysel and Mike chose to do a post wedding portrait session in the Boston Public Garden, we got the perfect day and ended on a beautiful note. Loved this newborn and family session with baby George and his big sister recently! Had a lot of fun with this one! If you are looking for creative and modern newborn baby portraits, the best age is 5-10 days.

I recently had the opportunity to travel out to the west coast to work with my good friends in BOYS LIKE GIRLS while they are in the studio recording their third album. What a trip!

The studio is unreal, I couldn't believe my eyes. Once the initial shock of the location wore off, it was time to get to business and shoot some photos.

BOYS LIKE GIRLS is back, let's leave it at that. The new record sounds more mature, more organic, more real than anything I have heard from them before. Good ol', real American music is the gist of it. Some classic BLG thrown in there for good measure, but the new organic music is what really made me intrigued. You will have to wait for the record to come out to hear the music, but for now let's let some photos do the talking.

On June 17th, 2011 I had the opportunity to photograph the Andover Youth Services "Keep it Wild" Fashion Show at Old Town Hall in Andover, MA. Many kids from local area Middle and High School's came together to design and model their custom fashion designs. A great collaboration of many people turned into a great show for all!

Cara & Franco's wedding was an iconic Boston wedding, it was a pleasure to be their wedding photographer! They got ready at the Marriott Warf Hotel, the ceremony was at St. Leonard's Church in the North End, the bridal party took a nice photo walk through the North End and Downtown for some great shots and we ended with a reception at the New England Aquarium. All in all an amazing day for an amazing couple! Congrats to both of you and thanks!

I recently had the opportunity to photograph an amazing wedding at the Boston Museum of Science and have to share some of these photos. What a unique venue for a wedding! Great couple, great wedding. I had a lot of fun with this one!

We got the perfect evening for "Golden Hour" outdoor family portraits for Brogan's 2 year portraits. These were photographed at The Steven Coolidge Place in North Andover, MA, a beautiful location for some unique family portraits! Outdoor sessions can be a great way to change up from a typical indoor studio family portrait. For family portrait photography in Andover or the greater Boston and New England area, give me a call!

Got very lucky with this newborn photography session! Congratulations to Christina and her family! They dove up from Boston, Massachusetts to my studio in Andover for our newborn baby portraits. This baby was perfect! Not a peep the whole 4 hour session, just slept like a rock, you just can't ask for better. This gave us a chance to get a very unique gallery of images. Some of my favorite recent newborn portraits for sure! Enjoy!

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of taking engagement photographs of Jodi & Tim in Fort Point, Boston. This was the day after the tragic tornados hit in Western Massachusetts so we were a bit concerned about the weather, but ended up having a beautiful (although quite windy) day complete with dramatic skies. Can't ask for much better! We bounced around from the harbor to alleys to bridges and more. This session was the perfect chance to better get to know Jodi & Tim before their wedding in October at The Four Seasons in Boston. Looking forward to it!

First full wedding of 2011 and man was it a fun one! Xiyan & Kevin chose The Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA for their venue. Rustic and classy, elegant and beautiful but very unique, Willowdale was perfect for this amazing couple. I had a lot of fun as the photographer at this wedding and I hope you enjoy the photos!
